  • One of the largest issues at hand is the unnecessary harm to human beings, either during experimentation or after birth
  • A bit of perspective: In a survey conducted by the Washington Post on November 5, 2003, 56% of those polled said that they would not eat meat from a cloned animal
  • Many fear the possibility of a diminished sense of identity and individuality
  • Reduction or destruction of the quality of family life
  • Would it be better not to give life to a person who may have psychological or other problems?
  • Production of copies of children vs. Giving life to another person
  • Where the line would be drawn
  • Why assume the worst?

"A man of serious conscience means to say in raising ethical questions that there may be some things that men should never do. The good things men do can be made complete only by the things they refuse to do."- Paul Ramsey
